2. Eligibility

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use our service to:

By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI tools becomes your property upon creation. You are free to use, modify, and distribute this content as you see fit, subject to the accuracy disclaimer in Section 8.

7. Payment Terms

Credit-Based Model

Seaweed.ai operates on a credit-based model. You purchase credits that are consumed when you use AI-powered features. Credits do not expire and there are no recurring charges. Current credit packages and pricing are displayed on our pricing page.

Billing

• Credits are purchased as one-time payments — no recurring billing
• All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy
• Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise specified
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for the credit package selected

Refunds

• Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Partially used credit packages are generally not refundable
• Contact us within 14 days of purchase to request a refund

Price Changes

We may change our credit package pricing at any time. Existing purchased credits are not affected by price changes.

8. AI-Generated Content

Nature of AI Assistance

• Our AI uses machine learning to generate suggestions based on patterns in professional documents
• AI output is probabilistic and may not always be appropriate for your specific situation
• The AI does not verify the accuracy of information you provide
• Generated content should always be reviewed and customized before use

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy
• Ensuring generated content truthfully represents your qualifications
• Making final decisions about what to include in your documents
• Any consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Provided "As Is"

Seaweed.ai is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of non-infringement
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

No Employment Guarantees

We do not guarantee that using our service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Job success depends on many factors outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seaweed.ai and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service
• Third-party claims arising from your use of the service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seaweed.ai, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access the service ends immediately
• We may delete your account data according to our Privacy Policy
• You can request a copy of your data before account deletion
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution
